Supervision and group work training for Coaches and Coaching Psychologists

This programme has been designed to meet the growing need for a practical, psychologically grounded approach to coach supervision and group work. Led by Dr Natalie Lancer, an expert in existential psychology, supervision, and group dynamics, the course combines theory, research, reflective practice, and experiential learning. Participants will explore a range of supervisory and group approaches, develop their own philosophy and style of practice, and gain insight into their strengths and areas for growth. Covering one-to-one and group supervision, group coaching, Action Learning Sets, systems thinking, psychodynamic and existential perspectives, ethics, and inclusive practice, the programme provides a rich foundation for building a confident and effective supervision or group facilitation practice.

EIGHT TENSIONS® COACH TRAINING

The Eight Tensions® is an existential coaching framework which brings clarity to your clients quickly, by placing their individual issues in the context of universal challenges. It’s simple, yet deep. It is underpinned by rigorous academic research carried out by Dr Natalie Lancer and numerous case studies written by coaches and coaching psychologists.

Exploring neurodiversity through the Eight Tensions

This hybrid two-part course, led by Cara Langford Watts and Dr Natalie Lancer, explores neurodiversity through the Eight Tensions™ Framework and is designed for coaches, practitioners, and professionals working with neurodivergent clients. Participants will learn how to use the framework to support clients in understanding and navigating experiences such as shame, guilt, procrastination, masking, perfectionism, rejection sensitivity, executive function challenges, and overwhelm. Drawing on approaches including CBT, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, the course provides practical tools for helping clients explore their identity within their neurodiversity in both one-to-one and group settings.

COACHING FOUNDATIONS

This practical introductory workshop is designed for those who are new to coaching and want to develop a clear understanding of what coaching is while gaining hands-on experience of coaching conversations. Participants will explore the philosophy and core skills of coaching, including rapport building, active listening, powerful questioning, feedback, and challenge. Through coaching demonstrations, guided practice, reflection, and the use of established coaching models such as OSCAR and CLEAR, delegates will begin building confidence in their coaching abilities and create a personal coach development plan.
