I take a psychologically-informed approach to help you manage complexity, uncertainty and competing demands.

For executives in the private or public sector:

  • Do you or your team need support navigating change, transition or high-pressure environments?
  • Do you want to improve communication and understanding within your team or organisation?
  • Do you want to strengthen psychological resilience in yourself or your team?

For individuals:

  • Do you need a clearer way to make sense of competing pressures in your life or work?
  • Do you want to create healthier ways of working without losing effectiveness or ambition?
  • Do you need to reconnect with purpose, direction and momentum?

Through my coaching programmes, I help people make sense of complexity and regain agency in life and work resulting in clearer decision-making. I work one-to-one and in groups and teams, supporting leaders, team members and individuals develop clarity, confidence and direction which translates into a practical strategy and vision.

My programmes apply the Eight Tensions framework that is based on Existential Psychology and was empirically derived by me through my doctoral study and subsequent research. The Eight Tensions framework is a coaching model and tool to support individuals and groups in making sense and taking control of their life circumstances. The framework helps people reflect, adapt and take meaningful action as well to navigate the human challenges behind performance and productivity. It accelerates surfacing practical strategies for managing self, work and relationships more effectively.

“Natalie is passionate, kind and engaged and is genuinely committed to supporting our learning and growth”.

Helen Roper

“I highly recommend Natalie as a coach. She brought order, clarity and a much needed rigour to my thought process when I wanted to discover and navigate a path forward after doing the same job for 30 years.

She is highly attentive and able to sort out the key information and facts when presented with a weekly brain dump! She’s very intelligent and it was fun to brainstorm with her.

Natalie is well-networked and has access to good resources but is also comfortable being honest when she is straying outside her sphere of expertise.

Overall a highly worthwhile experience and I have no hesitation in recommending Natalie as an executive coach.”

“I worked with Natalie to update my CV. I am a global CEO and my previous CV was looking cumbersome as different roles were added.

Working with Natalie to simplify it and make it more punchy was simple and straightforward.

She understood the brief immediately and worked with me in realtime over Zoom.

The process was seamless and the outcome excellent.

I would recommend Natalie for all such needs and will have no hesitation about using her again for any such needs.”

Lauren

Sum up the retreat: Invigorating and motivating

Retreat highlights: The connections with the other attendees, the creative exercises to start and finish the day as well as the concentrated time to focus on sprints.

What I valued about the coaching session: Being able to have a one-on-one conversation with someone without judgement who is able to question back my thinking and thoughts but also share their own views on this.

What I got from the retreat: The exercises/workshops were positioned in such a way that it really helps evolve your thinking and understanding of your own work. Hearing the responses from the other attendees was extremely beneficial which I reflected the application of this learning back into my own work. Because of this I was able to get so much more done in 3 and 1/2 days then I have been able to achieve in the past 60 days. Now I have many more tools in my personal toolbox to stay motivated and structure my time differently to be even more effective than I was previously.

The retreat was truly very valuable- actually transformational.

Nikki

Retreat highlights: The retreat has been really productive in relation to the journal article, but on top of that I think I have some really useful ideas for how I can maintain that productivity when I get home.

What I got from the retreat: I really valued the time away just to focus on the article and the company. Before I went on the retreat, I was definitely feeling the juggling was getting out of hand. Now, I feel much more in control of the juggling and I have really developed the analysis section of my article.

Paul

Sum up the retreat: Making the time for ‘deep think development’.

Retreat highlights: Conversations in the sessions, conversations in the margins, silent time for deep work.

What I valued about the coaching session: A wide-ranging discussion on thoughts and options.

What I got from the retreat: I appreciated having time and space for deep thinking about my current activities, exploring themes that have been surfacing over recent months and years, the opportunity to start to develop a high level plan that I will let marinade and then review for actioning. Before I went on the retreat, I already had a vast cauldron of thoughts, ideas, realities of what I do all brewing. I now have an even bigger cauldron of things brewing but feel much clearing what I want to scoop out and do, and what will be left.

Rachel

Sum up the retreat: Productive and focused without feeling pressurised.

Retreat highlights: Genuine connection and a supportive working environment.

What I valued about the coaching session: Considering what my key challenges/tensions are. Recognising the activities from the retreat that were helping me and I could build into normal work. Refocusing on key purposes.

What I got from the retreat: Before I went on the retreat, I was stuck in procrastination, inactivity and energy conservation. I was also sometimes repeating work because I had not given sufficient dedicated time to focus in one go. By going on the retreat, I realised that I now have more energy available to work than I did before. I gained clarity of overall purpose. I realise my need to focus on purpose and how to do that.

“Many thanks for all your support. I wouldn’t be where I am now without our work together”.
