Are you a Coach or Coaching Psychologist looking for refreshing and varied regular professional development?

Do you want to build up your evidence base and your reflective practice?

Are you looking to build connections with like-minded coaches?

How do you do this when you are busy in a world full of noise, distraction and lack of time?

Introducing….

The
Coach Development CLUB …

… an exclusive club of coaches and coaching psychologists, where members meet every month in an intellectually stimulating environment to meet their Continuous Professional Development needs. The group is facilitated by Dr Natalie Lancer, Chartered Coaching Psychologist.

What type of professional development does Coach Development Club offer?

There are six main types of developmental activity.

A fresh approach to professional development through Action Learning

Every other month, Natalie facilitates an Action Learning Set where members bid to discuss their issues (everyone will get several turns throughout the year). Using a strict Action Learning Set protocol to get the most useful outcome (which Natalie will explain) the ‘set’ asks the presenter questions about their issue/topic/opportunity/challenge which helps move them forward. The types of issues you can present are:

  • Idea or process development: How to get going with a new project you are starting
  • Retrospective learning: How something you have just finished went and what the learning is
  • A problem: such as a challenging work relationship or competing priorities and you want to think about how to prioritise or get through a challenging situation.
  • An aspiration: something you want to achieve in your work, but you’re not sure how to get there.

The content is confidential, so sessions are not recorded.

We read and discuss relevant academic papers, books and podcasts around coaching and engage in reflective practice about whether and how to embed our learning in our own practice.
