Kim is a Positive Psychology Coach and Supervisor with a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She works with her coaching and supervision clients on Zoom and face to face in her private practice in Stratford upon Avon, supporting a wide range of clients, mainly junior doctors, teachers, headteachers and businesspeople with a wide range of coaching strategies to ensure they are living a productive, successful, balanced and thriving life.
She is passionate about using applied Positive Psychology and Coaching approaches to improve the lives and wellbeing of others. She is particularly interested in developing positive relationships and the use of positive language within medical settings in her role as a coach and supervisor for the professional support service within the NHS.
She is enthusiastic about furthering the application of Positive Psychology and Coaching approaches in institutions across the UK through speaking engagements, training, contributing to research and working alongside others. She combines positive psychology with cognitive behaviour coaching and a humanistic approach and integrates the existential approach using the Eight Tension Framework® which she has found is a powerful addition to her coaching philosophy.
She uses the Eight Tension framework within her one-to-one coaching and facilitates monthly group coaching sessions focusing on an individual tension every month. Kim is passionate about making coaching available for more people and has made these monthly sessions available for everyone as a one off coaching session or they can join for her for all of the Eight Tensions spread across the year. Every quarter she holds a group planning session which will incorporate the Eight Tensions for planning the quarter ahead.
Alongside this, she works with a charity supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse, supporting them in their careers and moving forward professionally.
When she is not coaching you will find her walking her beloved Labradoodle, cold water swimming, paddle boarding with friends and spending time with her adult sons and family.
